Michael Wright is a life-long resident of Jacksonville, Fl. He attended William M. Raines High School. Michael graduated from Florida A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. Michael retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 2020 after 36 years. The last 20 he served as Station Manager. Michael currently is a substitute for the Duval county school system and works at Jbear learning center.

He assisted his wife, Myrna Wright, in opening JBEAR Learning Center in 2016, a family home childcare business. It started with six children and is a large family home with 12 children and a waiting list. JBEAR is NAFCC accredited and has a 5-star rating through Guiding Stars. Her former students are excelling in kindergarten and First Grade. 

Jbear is a learning center where we continue to take professional classes and attend seminars that will help increase our knowledge to continue to provide quality care to the children we serve.
