Hi everyone,

My name is Jacqia Carter. I’m a child of God, a mother of two beautiful daughters, and the proud owner of two early learning childcare centers: The Carter Academy, established in 2010, and The Carter Academy II, established in 2017, both located in Miami, FL. As an early childhood education professional, I’ve worn many hats in various roles. Over the years, I’ve served as an assistant teacher, lead teacher, director, assistant director, custodian, and even kitchen staff. I still take on these roles as needed due to the dynamic, unpredictable nature of managing a preschool. Currently, I am honored to serve as a mentor for the Business Leadership Institute for Early Learning (BLI), where I am now in my fourth year of mentorship. I am also proud to be an alumnus of the BLI, class of 2018, and cherish the opportunity to give back to this incredible organization. In addition to my passion for early childhood education, I am a licensed realtor specializing in both commercial and residential sales. This career allows me to help individuals and families find their perfect spaces to live or grow their businesses. My expertise in real estate, combined with my leadership in education, allows me to impact my community in meaningful and lasting ways. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy reading, cooking, traveling, and embracing the joy in everyday life. I am excited to get to know each of you and look forward to collaborating to help you achieve your goals.
