My name is Carol Foo, and I have been in the early childhood field for the past 32 years. I found my passion and purpose for early education while volunteering at my daughter’s preschool for the deaf in Toronto Canada. I have since then obtained my degree in ECE and Leadership. 

Moving to Orlando has helped me to fulfill my dream of working in the non-profit childcare industry. I have been the Executive Director of Conway Learning Center 1 & 2 and Conway Christian Academy since 2006. The schools have grown substantially, starting with an enrollment of 28 students, we are now one of the largest faith based childcare businesses in Orange County serving over 525 students from Infant to 5th grade, as well as a staff of over 75 employees. 

Over the years I have collaborated with many outstanding partners in the industry including Business Leadership Institute (BLI) which has given me a voice and empowered me as a leader, a mentor and an advocate in the community. I am currently serving on the executive board of directors of the early learning coalition of Orange County as the chair of the Quality Community.  I am also on the FACCM/APPLE accreditation board and Church of God Schools executive board. I strongly believe that bridging the gap in the early education field is imperative to our generation and the future of the childcare industry.
