Lisa Harris

Lisa Harris is a product of the public school system. She attended Jean Ribault High School in Jacksonville, Florida. Lisa Harris has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Special Education from Bethune Cookman University, formerly known as Bethune Cookman College in Daytona Beach, Florida. She received her Master of Science Degree in Education from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.  Lisa Harris taught as a SLD teacher in Duval County for years before founding Joshua Christian Academy in 1996.  On August 16, 1996, she opened Joshua Christian Academy preschool with 6 students and 9 employees.  Since that time under her leadership, Joshua Christian Academy has grown from a preschool to now offering accredited schooling to students from Preschool to 12th grade with over 450 students attending yearly.  Joshua Christian Academy is recognized as one of the premier private schools in Duval county.
